One of the kidnappers showed a bill of sale, in which the negro was dis. posed of tar 5150, in Morgantown, and they also stated, that they had got the pnvilege tram the Mayor to seize Lee wherever found, but one of the bystanders stepped boldly forward, and out ihs cords that bound the negro, and set him free. The kiduappers immediately made their escape, whieh is to be regretted, as they merited condign punish meta. This man Lee, about four years ago, waa a slave in Morgantown, "a., but at his master's death, re veived his freedom. lie was induced to settle in free State, from the attempts which were inade to break his master's will, and to iemove him far ther South, sad sell him again as a slave. He re moved to Allegheny, where he has since resided. He married shortly after coming there, and his whereabouts happened tri be inside known to this fellow Neigh, by some girls lately from Morgan town, for whom Lee's wile was washing.
