Two members of the class who lost their lives in the war were awarded diplomas posthum ously. Governor William C. Sproul, who has the degree, of Doctor of Laws from the college, was present and extended greetings. The address to the graduates was by Dr. J. A. Faulkner, of Drew Theological Sem inary. The salutatory was given by Martin Luther Faust, of Ambler, and the valedictory by Donald Fisher Lybarger, of Harrisburg. The following were presented for honorary degrees: Doctor of Laws —Morris L. Cloth ier, of Philadelphia, and Prof. John Alfred Faulkner, of Madison, N. J. Doctor of Divinity—The Rev. Stanley Billheimer, of Norwood: the Rev. Robert D. Clare, of Bal timore, Md., and the Rev. The board of trustees, after their annual meeting, announced a change of professors in one of the depart ments, Dr. E. M. Baxter, of Hamp ton, Va., taking the place of Dr. G. B. Fundenbcrg in the departmeht of romance languages. Dr. Raxter is a graduate of Cornell University and of the University of Aix, France. Dr. Fundenberg will go to Union College, "Schenectady, N. Y., to occupy the chair of romance lan guages at that institution. E. Clar ence Miller, of Philadelphia, was elected a member of the board of trustees.
