A demonstration on artificial f lighting 1 was given in the afternoon. Mr. Kellberg has in charge the list ing of all lenses for photographic uses by the Government, and gave an appeal to all the photographers pres ent to enlist their lenses in this cause. A banquet was held in the evening, when William S. Essick. of the Aetna Life Insurance Co.. gave a very ap preciatlve talk on side lights on photographic methods. Boyd M. Ogelsby, advertising manager of the Harrisburg Telegraph, addressed them on advertising, as it applies to the photographer. MRS. HELEX M. MYERS Mrs. Helen M. Myers died, Janu ary 8, in her 84th year, at the homo of her daughter, Mrs. William H- Allen, Pittsburgh. Mrs. Myers was born in Philadelphia, the daughter Qf John and Anna Caldwell Gill. Her father was an old-time merchant of Pittsburgh. Her early life was spent in Allegheny, where she was mar ried in 1857 to the late U. H. Myers. In 1862 Mr. and Mrs. Myers bought a home In West State street, this city, where her husband died. He was one of Harrisburg's most enter prising businessmen establishing and conducting a large printing estab lishment and being state printer. Mrs. Myers was one of the oldest and most active members of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church and was associated with the former mem bers of that congregation with whom she always maintained close friend ships. When she returned to Pitts burgh in 1887, she became identified with the Point Breeze Presbyterian Church there and continued In that membership until her death.
