Aug. 4.—The war tax and prohibition outlook brought the total of withdrawals of whiskey from bonded warehouses during July up to 28,000,000 gallons, three times the normal ,and higher than any month for twenty-three years. N. Bair, architect, were approved by the School Board at a special meeting yesterday. A number of changes in the plans were ordered because no provision had been made for a few minor details.
