Plans have been formulated by the pastors of the General Council and General Synod Lutheran Churches, of Mechanicsburg and vicinity consisting of the Rev. H. Hall Sharp, of Trinity; the Rev. Dr. H. Lantz, of St. John's, Shiremanstown, to hold a Joint celebration of the four hundredth anniversary of the Pro testant Reformation in Franklin Hall on Sunday evening, January 14 1917. A large chorus will furnish music and prominent ministers from a dis tance will be the speakers. Each pastor will appoint five laymen, who, with the pastors will constitute the executive committee.
