Mrs. Fenical testified that she had received $6 per week since July 31, 1911. Recently she underwent an op eration, and her physicians advised her to go to the seashore to recuper ate. The wife also asked the court for an order on her husband to pay the doctor bills. Mr. Fenical tol dteh court that he was receiving less wages per week than five years ago when the court ordered him to pay his wife $6 each week. Judge Kunkel decided that an additonal payment was out of the question, because of the husband's sal ary and dismissed the case. Stroh was granted an order by the court to-day to cancel a mortgage because of lapse of time. The mortgage was placed on the prop erty of Archibald Miller in 1824. This property is part of the land recently purchased by the Harrisburg Country Club and the present owners have been unable to locate Frederick Schoeber, holder of the mortgage or his heirs. Sec ond and Forster streets this morning at 9 o'clock to enlist recruits ror tne companies now on duty on tne bor der. Up until 11 o'clock tweieve ap plicants had signed. They will be given medical examinations this aft ernoon at 1 o'clock, under the super vision of Dr. C. I. TrulnnKer, 2022 North Sixth street, formerly of the Marine Corps. The majority of the applicants have seen services in the guard or the regular army. The offi cers are given full power to Judge for themselves whether or not the recruits will be sent to Mt. Gretna for train ing prior to being sent to the border. The recruiting officers are enlisting men for all branches of the service. Twelve have requested being put in the cavalry and one in the Signal Corps, the other nine have enlisted for the infantry. The Eighth regi ment needs 68 men and tne cavalry 196 to bring them up to the required war strength. As soon as traveling orders have been received from the war department the local officers will open stations one day a week in each of the following towns: Carlisle, Bed ford, Lewistown. Chambersburg and Huntingdon. Allied Cruiser Comes Close in Watch For Deutschland Norfolk, Va., July 31.
