McPherson is elected president judge of the Fifty-first Judicial district, car rying Adams county by 400, while his opponent, J. h. Butt won in Fulton county, the other part district by about 200. Thirty-one of the forty districts gave 737 for suffrage, and 1893 against. The new Judge is a former Senator and cousin of Judge John B. McPher son.
