RUSH WORK ON FURNACES The Pennsylvania Steel Company is rushing work on its new 500-ton blast furnace, known as No. 5, at the Steel ton plant, so that it may be blown in by the first of next month. No. 4 fur nace was blown in last week and turned out its first iron on Friday. It Is now turning out about 260 tons each twenty-four hours.
