By Inhalation, the vapor and curative properties ol medicines are di'ectly address ed to the diseased organs and the integument. I do not advise the use ol medical Inhalation of any kind, to the exclusion of general treat ment ; arid although 1 consider it a uselul ad juvant in the proper management of those tearful and often fatal diseases, yet I deem it vpry necessary that each pa'ient should have the benefit of both general arid local treat" merit. The success of my treatment in the above diseases, and in the high character of the Instittitiou over which I have so long had the honor to preside, are 100 well known to need any eulogy 01 comment from me. At the solicitation of many private and p.-ofes sioial friends, through whose philanthropic aid the above charily has been long arid lib erally supported, and after due consideration, I havp concluded to make such arrangements ae will bring the beuefits of my experience and treatment within the reach of all, and not confine myself, as heretofore, to those only who entered the Infirmary, or who were able I to visit me at my office. Hoping therefore that the arrangement will give entire satisfac tion, both to my professional brelhern and the public, I would respectfully announce in concln-ion thai lean be consulted personally or by letter, on all diseases us above, and thai the ! medicines, the same as used in the Institution j brepared to suit each individual case.
