KINGSFOUI) & SON'S PURB OSWEGO STARCH, (FOR THE LAUNDRY.) g ¥TAS established a greater celebrity than lias ever been obtained by any otliet Starch. This lias been the result of its marked su periority iu quality, and its invariable uni formity. The public may be assured of the continu ance ol the h'tth standard now e-iiiblished. The production is over Twenty Tons daily, and the demand bus extended throughout the whole ol the United Slates, and to foreign countries. Wotkiiig thus on a very large scale, and under a rigid system, they are ahlt) to secure a perfect and uniformity i-i the quality ttirough out the year. This is the gtcal Desideratum in Starch making, and is realized now lor the first time. The very best starch that can be made, and no other, is always watted by consumers, and while this will be supplied to them by Ihe grocer-, as soon as their customers have learned which is the best, and a-k for it otherwise they would be likely to get that article on winch the largest profit can be made. Mr. Kingsford has been engaged in the manufacture of starch Continuously for the last 27 years, and during Ihe whole of the period, the starch made under Ins supervis ion has been, Levonil anv question, the best in the market. For the first 17 years, he had the charge ol the works ol Win. CONSUMPTION, AND ALL DISEASES OF THE LUNGS And THOATTate positively curutilo by in halation, which conveys the remedies to lite cavities in the lungs through the R'f pa-- sages, and coming in direct contact with the, disease, neutralizes the tubercular matter, allays the cough, causes a tree and easy ex pecio-ation, heals the lungs, pur.lies the blood, imparts renewed vitality to the nervous sys tem, giving thai tone and ertcrgy so indis pensable lor tho restoration of health. To be able to slate confidently mat Consumption is cnrublH by inhalation, is to rnc a source ol unalloyed pleasure. It id as touch under the control ol medical treatment as any jthei formidable disease; ninety tint of every hun dred cases can l c cured in the first stages, and fifty per cent, in the second; hot in the third singe it is impossible to save more than five per cent., lor the luva* are so cm up by the disease as to bit! defiance to medical skill. Even, however, in the lust stages, in halation affords extraordinary relief to the suffering attending this [earful scourge, which annually destroys ninety live thousand per sco s in die United Stales alone; and a correct calculation shows that out of the present pop ulation of the earth, eighty millions aro des tined to liil the consumptive's grave.
