DR. J. B. MAROSXSI'S CELEBRATED CATNOLICON for the Relief and Cart of Suffering Females. fTT stands pre-eminent A for curative powers in all the diseases for which it is recommended osu- Female Complaints. Of these are Prolapsus Uteri, or Falling of the Womb; Flour Albus, or malion and Ulceration of the Womb; Incidental Hemorrhage.or Flood ■ng; Painful Suppressed, and Irregular Men •iruation, &c., with all their accompanying 4*ile, (Cancer excepted,) no trailer how se vere or how long standing. This niwpcinn has never been introdoced by emptypbffs and misrepresentations, nor is it intended that Its present popularity shall be sustained by any medium but its merits end the approbation of the public. EEEEPEN CES. I feel it a duty incujnbent upon myself to declare publicly the gre'at blessing Dr. Mar ctiisi's Uterine Cathoßcbn bas proved to me. For two years my health was miserable; I was almost unable lo walk. Physicians pro nounced my case falling of the womb, exten sive ulcerations,, commencing with flour al bus. Tbe puns, irritation, prostration, &c., rendered life a burden. In this miserable condition. Ur/F. P. Newlanri recommended Dr. Marchisi's Uterine Catholicon. After la iring four bottles I found myself in perfect health. Gratitude for my restoration makes me ardently desire that all my sex, a like unfortunate, may find sure relief from ibis in estimable medicine. ELIZABETH A. NEVVLAND, No. 19 West St., Ulica, N. Y. The above statement I know to be true, F. P. NEWLAND, M. D., Ulica, New York. I would be "glad to have a further supply, as the medicine is becoming very popular, and 1 think will continue, as it has given re lief in every instance where properly taken. THOMAS NEWMAN, M. D., Mt. Vernon, Ind. Prevail on medical men to adopt it in their practice ; and I have no fears ol the result, trnm what knowledge I have obtained per sonally of ite curative powers. I wish the medicine kept here. T. C. HAWKINS, M. D , Wsynesburg, l'a. I I must say, from my own experience and personal observations in my practice, it has proved lo be the best and safest remedy lor the difficulties for which it is recommended, viz.: those of female weakness, such as Pro lapsus Uteri, Flour Albus, and all irregular and painful menstruation, and diseases of ir ritation of the female organs. D. Y. FOOTE, M. D , Syracuse, N. Y. The claims of this medicine lo the ennfi- 1 deuce of the public are strengthened by the fact of its having received the approbation antl patronage of many prominent members ofthe Medical Faculty in the United States, some of whom have voluntarily given letters ol commendation, (see pamphlet,) sustaining ail that is claimed lor it as a curative agent. Pamphlets containing much uselul infor mation touching the nature and symptoms of the above diseases, together with testimoni als from ladies of the highest respectability, as certified by the most satisfactory authori ty, to all which the attention of ladies and practitioners is respectfully invited., can be had gratis at the store of J. The muse of all ague and billious dis eases i# the atmospheric poison called Mias ma or Malaria. Neutralize this poison by its NATURAL ANTIDOTE. and all disenses caused by it disappears at once. Rhodes' Fever and Ague Cure is this Antidote to Malaria, ant 1 moreover it is a perfectly harmless medicine. The certificate i of the celebrated chemist, I. This is more than can be said oMfefinine, Arsenic, or any ionic in existence, us then u-e is ruinous to the constitution and bring on DUMB AGUE, which never allows a per son to feel iwrlectly well lor a single moment. In illiiMiation of these truths I annex soma extracts trom a letter just received from a Physician: Georgetown, Ohio, March 17, '56. J*s. A. RHODES, E-q. Dear Sir: Yours of 2d insl. is at hand. The Cure arrived late last year and the difficulty in getting any one to try il waa greatly increased from the fact thai a remedy had been introduced which waa growing in favor with the public, as be ing belter than using Quinine, —not knowing I presume that the remeJy lltey needed to escape taking Quinine, contained the DRUG ITSELF! This remedy, (known as "Smith's Tonic,") would invariably BREAK an ague, but it did not CURE it, and it would often return with renewed vigor. The one circumstance I deemed in your favor, if I could institute a < lest comparison between it and your CURE. The tollowing is the result: Three persons look your "Cure," all of which were cases of "Quotidian Intermit tent Fever," of many weeks standing. They had tried Quinine, and other remedies, occa sionally missing a chill, but it was, (as in all such cases, j slowly wearing them out, and laying the foundation of other and severer maladies. I did succeed in effecting a radi cal cure of all ihreb of these cases with your remedy, and they have not had a chill since. In all three of these cases the "Smith's Ton- i ic" had been used, and would, as before sta ted, break the chill, but after a period or two had elapsed it would return. I think there will be no difficulty now in giving to your "Cure" the vantage ground of any other remedy now in use here. &e. &c. WILLIAM BUCKNER, M. D. RHODES' FEVER and AGUE CURE, or Antidote to Malaria , the only harmless reme dy in existence, is equal y certain as a PRE VENTIVE, as a "CURE." Take it when you feel the chill coming on, and you will never have a single one. JAMES A. RHODES, Proprietor. Providence, R. I. For sale by Druggists generally. June 18. 1856. Trusses ! Trusses ! ' TAKE PARTICULAR NOTICE, There is an evil habit vometimes indulged in by boys, in solitude, and which, if not'ra formed in due time, not only begets serious obstacles to matrimonial happiness, but give* rise to a series of protracted, insidious, and devastating afflictions. Few ol those who give way to this pernicious practice are a wsre of the consequences, until they find (he tierv, ous system shattered, feel strange and unaccountable feelings, and vague fears in lite; mind. The unfortunate thus affected becomes fee bl*> unable to labor with accustomed vig or, or to apply bis mind to study ; his etep is tardy ami weak, he is dull, irresolute, and engages io bis sport with leas energy titan usual. If he emancipate himself before the prao lice haa done its worst, and etiler matrimony, his marriage is unfruitful, and hi* sense felia him that this is caused by his early follies. These are considerations which should awa ken the attention of those similarly situated MARRIAGE Requires the fulfillment of several conditions in order that it may be really the cause of mutual happiness. Could the veil which covers the origin of domestic wretphedness be ritised, and its true source io every in stance disclosed—in how many could it be traced lo physical disqualifications and their attendant disappointments! Apply tbenwhile it is yet time, in order to have your unstrung and relaxeil organization rebraced, revivified and strengthened. REMEMDER, Ho who places himself under Dr. Kinkelin's treatment may religiously confide in his hon or as a genteman, and rely upon ihe assur ance, that the secrets of Dr. K's patients will never be disclo-ed. Young man—let no false modesty delav you from making your case znowtt to ane who, from education and respectability, can befriend you. Too many think they will conceal the t cret in their own hearts, and cure themselves. Alas! how often Is this a latal delusion, and how many a promising young man, who might have been an ornament to society, has fadetl from the eagb. Strictures of the urethra are rapidly re moved by the application of a new thera peutical agent, used only by Dr. K. Weak ness and Constitutional Debility promptly nured, and lull vigor restored.
