In addition to the oath now prescribed by law to be taken and subscribed by election officers, they shal severally be sworn or affirmed not to disclose how any elector shall have voted, unles re quired to do so as witnesses in a judicia proceeding. All judges, inspectors, clerks, and overseers oi anv election held under this act, shall, before entering upon their duties, be duly sworn or affirmed in the presence ol each other. The judge shall be sworn by the minority in spector, it there shall be such minority mspec tor, and in case there be no minority inspector then by a justice of the peace or alderman, and the inspectors, overseers and clerks shall be sworn by the judge. But if the person so claiming the right to rote shall take and sub scribe an affidavit, that ho is a native born citizen of the U. All officers provided for by this act shall be compensated as like officers are paid by existing laws.
