Frosty "Summers in Time Past. That Summer there was frost in every month. On tho 7th of June there was sno; on the 6th it was too cold to ride comforta bly towards the north, even in winter clothes; and for three succesnvc nights there were largo white frosts, which cut the Corn dowu to tho roots. To nil wanting Farms A RARE OPPORTUNITY IN A DELIGHTFUL AND HEALTHY CLI JUTE -5 JULES SOUHEAST Of" ' PHILADELPHIA, ON THE CAMDEN AND ATLANTIC RAILROAD, NEW JERSEY. An old estate consisting of several thou sands of acres of productive soil has been divided into Farms ol various iizes to suit ihe purcler. A population of some Fif teen Hundred, from various parts of the mid die Siaies and New England hae settled there the past year, improved their, places, and raised excellent crops. The price of the land is at tho low sum of from Slo to SI-JO per acre, the soil is of the best quality for the production of Wheal, Clover, Cor, Peaches, Grapes and Vegetables'. It is con sidered the liest Fruit soil in the Union. The place is perfectly secure from frosts r the destructive enemy of the farmer. Crop of grain, grass and Iruit ate now gtowinji and can be seen. By examining the place itself, a correct judgment can he formed of the productiveness of the land. The terms are made easy to secure the rapid improve ment of the land, which is only sold for ac tual improvement. The result has been, that within the past year, some' three hun dred houses have been erected, two mills, one steam, fout stores, somo forty vinyards and Peach orchards, planted, and a large number of other improvements, making it a desirable and active place of business. THE MARKET, as the reader may perceive from its lora tion, is the BEST IN THE UNio'N. Produce bringing double the price than in locations away liora the city, and more than double ihe piice than the West- It h known that the earliest and hest fruits and vegetables in this latitude come from New Jersey, and are annually exported to the ex tent of millions In locating here, the aettlcr has many ad vantagps. He is within a few hours ride ol the great cities of New England and Middle States, he is near his old friends and asso ciations, he is in a settled country where ev ery improvement of aomfort and civilization is at hand. He can buy every article he wants at the cheapest price, and sell his produce for the highest, ijn the West this is reversed) he has schools for his children. divine service, and will enjoy an open win ter, and delighllul climate, where fevers are utterly unknown. The result of the change upon those from the north, has generally been to restore them to an excellent state ot health. In the way of building and improving, lumber can be obtained at the mills at the rate of 10 to 15 per thousand. Bricks from the brick yard opened in the place, every article can be procured in the place, good carpenters are at hand; and there is no place in the Union where buildings and im provemenls can be made cheaper. The reader will at once oe struck with the advantages here presented, and ask him self why the property has not been taken up before. Tho reason is, tt was never thrown in the market; and unless these statements were coirect no one would be invited to ex amine the land before purchasing. This all are expected to do. They will see land under cultivation, such is the extent of the settlement that they will no doubt, meet per sons from their own neighborhood; they will witness the improvements and can judge the character of the population If they come with a view to settle, they should .come pre pared to stay a day or two and be ready to purchase, as locations cannot be held on re fusal. There are two daily trains to Philadel phia, and to all settlers who improve, the Railroad Company gives a Free Ticket for six" months, and a half-price Ticket for three years. THE TOWN OF IIAMMONTON In connection wiih the agricultural set tlement, a new and thriving town has natu rally arisen, rohich presents inducements for any hind of business, particularly stores and manufactories. The Shoe business could be carried on in this place and market to good advantage, also cotton business, and manu factories of agricultural implements or Foun defies for casting small articles. The im provement has been so rapid as to insure a constant arid permanent increase of business. Town lois of a good size, we do not sell small ones, as it would effect the improve ment of the place, can be had at from 8100 and upwards. Ayor's Sarsaparilla, A compound remedy, in which we have labored to produce the most effectual alterative that can be made. It is a concentrated extract of Para Sarsaparilla, so combined, with other substances of still greater alterative power as to afford an effective antidote for tho diseases Sarsaparilla is reputed to cure. It is believed that such a rem edy is wanted by those who suffer from Stru mous complaints, and that one which will ac complish their cure must prove of immense ser vice to this large class of onr afflicted fellow citizens. How completely this compound will do it has been proven by experiment on many of the worst cases to be found of the following complaints : Scrofula axd Scaort:LOi;3 Complaints, Ercttio.vs axd Eaci-TivB Diseases, Ul ceus, Pimples, Blotches, Tumors, Salt Eiieum, Scald Head, Syphilis axd Syphi litic Affections, Mercurial Disease, Dropsy, Neup.at.gi a or Tic Douloureaux, Debility, Dyspepsia and Indigestion, Erysipelas, Rose, or St. Anthony's Fire, and. indeed the whole class of complaints arising from Impurity or the Blood. This compound will bo found a-rcat pro moter of health, when taken in the spring, to ex pel the foul humors which fester in the blood at that season of tire year. By the timely expul sion of thcnl manv rauklinjjdisorders are nipped in the bud. Multitudes can, by the aid of this remedy, spare themselves from the endurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system will strive to rid itself of corruptions, if no't assisted to do this through the natural channels of the body by an alterative medicine. Cleanse out the viliafcd blood whenever you. find its impurities bursting through the skin in pimples, eruptions, or sores ; cleanse it when you find it is obstructed and sluggish in the veins ; cleanse it whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell von when. Even where no particular disorder is felt, people enjoy better health, and live longer, for cleansing tho blood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is ,well; but with this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disordered or overthrown. Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, tho repu tation of accomplishing these ends. But tho world has been egregiously deceived by prepara tions of it, partly because the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for it, but more be cause many preparations, pretending to be con centrated extracts of it, contain but little of the virtue of Sarsaparilla, or any thing else. During late years the public have been misled by large bott!c3, pretending to give a quart of Extract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most of these have been frauds u)on the sick, for they not only contain little, if any, Sarsaparilla, but Olteil UO ClirUlIVO UlllJUUta nuwi.iu. bitter and painful'disappointmcnt has followed the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which Hood tho market, until tho namo itself is justly despised, and has Iwcomo synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaparilla, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the nanic frbm the load of obloquy which rests upon it. And wo think we have ground for believing it has vir tues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended to cure. In order to secure their complete eradication from tho sys tem, the remedy should be judiciously taken ac cording to directions on the bottle. PREPARED BY UK. J. C. AYE 21 cfc GO,, LOWELL, MASS.
