It executes in the most perfect and satisfactory manner, tailors, boot; shoe, gaiter, harness, eaddle, shirt, onset, carriage trimming, cap . matting, hat bindings, dress making, costuming, glove-making, stockinet, carpet-bags, truss whip and upholstery work, &c., &o. The Agricultural Steam Fern ace is a decided curiosity, as it is in operation, with steam op. It 1011 the rear of Mechanics' Hall, and will be readi ly observed. It is a steam boils, having pipes, Safety and stop, cook, and can be used with the greatest convenience and economy for cooking by steam, any kind of food for stock, heating water in any quantity in tubs, barrels or vats, and will sup- ply steam, at the least possiblecost, for warming buildings by means of pipes, and is probably the most convenient and cheap apparatus for eteam- Mg timber ever invented. It is about four feet ' high, having a furnace eighteen inches deep, the fuel of it being sufficient to generate steam for two hours. From the top Issues two pipes, di verging to each aide from which the steam issues. The safety cook is so arranged that the boiler cannot burst, as a nut prevents the supply from being more than half out off. It Is a great in ' volution. Moore.
