The report sets forth an immense detail of fixate; the substance of which is thus summed up at its conclusion. __Your Committee report the following factsand conclusions as established by the testimony, .Firet—That ' each election , to the Territory. told nuder the copula or alleged Territorial law has been carried by organised invasions from the State of hfissouri. by which thie - people of the Territory have been prevented fnlon exercising the rights secured to them by the organic &coed—That the alleged Territorial Legiels -1 bare was an illegallpeonstituted body, and had no power to peas valid laws, and their enact meats are, therefore, null and void. Third--That these alleged laws have not, as a general thing, been need to protect persons end property and to punish wrong, but for unlawful purposes. Fourth—That the election under which the sitting Delegate, John W. Whitfield, holds his seat, was not held In pursuance of any valid law, and that it should bo regarded only as the ex pression of the choice - of thole resident citizens who voted for him. Fifth—That the election under which the con testieg Delegate, Andrew R. Reeder, claims hie Boat, was not held in pursuance of law, and that it should be regarded only as the expression of the choice of the resident citizens who voted for him. ExtA—That Andrew H. Reeder readied greater number of votes of reeidcnt citizens than John W. Whitfield, for Delegate. ikeenth=That in the preeent condition of the Territory , a fair election cannot be held without a new census, a stringent and well guarded elec tion law, the selection of impartial Judges, and the presence of United States troops at every place of election. Siehth—That the various elections held by the people of the Territory preliminary to the for matt= of the State Government, have been as regular as the disturbed condition of the Terri tory world allow; and that the Constitution passed by the Convention, held In pursuance of said elections, embodies the will of a majority of the people. As it le not the protium) of your Committee to enngest remedies for the existing troubles in the Territory of Kansas; they content themselree with the foregoing statement of facts. All of which is respectfully submitted. WM. A. HOWARD. JOHN SHERMAN. Larran nom Henna —We have been shown a Flints letter from Kansas, written by J. H. Nesbitt, late of tills county, and an old line Dem ocrat, which confirms every syllable which bee been published concerning the outrages perpe trated there against freedom, under the direc tion or connivance of the Democratic admit:de tration at Washington. Mr. Nesbitt, after giv ing an account of the long list of outrages in flicted upon the Free State people, which we hue already published, add!: "It is easy to discover, by every observer of Kansas affairs, even in the action going on in Congress, that It is the paramount object to plant Slavery in Kamm, contrary to all justice, and In direct violation of the principles of the Kan sas Nebraska bill, where it la eat forth that the people are granted all power to govern them selves. I am afraid the people of the Free States do cot understand the true state of the question. It is whether Freedom or Shivery chill prevail in these United States. Every citi zen has a deep interest in the result of this con troversy. From present appearances here, there is s general guerilla warfare coming on, and Frank Pierce and the administration are con niving at the movements of the Pro-Slavery par ty," etc Every Democrat from the Free States writes does Mr. Nesbitt. Their eyes are opened to the character of Pro-Shivery Democracy, by what they see and suffer, and their letters home are doing a good work.
