Uncle Fox As Knottarran.—About 4 o'clock on Sunday morning, the hew and extensive bar rel factory of Messrs. Rhodes. Kennedy & Co., in Rochester, Beaver eounty, was discovered to be on Inn, and in a few minutes was in ruins. This extensive establiehment had just been completed at an expectant' tea thousand dollars, with a capacity of turning out ea to eight hun dred barrels a day. Fifty thousand staves, and a large amount of heeding, having passed through the different ope rations of cutting, splitting, sawing, steaming, and kiin-drying„ were standing on eighteen small cars, and these on aoiroular Railroad track within the &Dn.:trying building, ready to pass into the hands of the coopers, -yesterday. • How the fire originated is a mystery, as there was a watchman in the building all night. The building will be rebuilt in from thirty to fifty days. We do not know whether there was any In cliance or not. Fortunately a large portion of the maohinery and fixtures were set up, and to be worked in the basement of the Oar Factory bulldog, and are uninjured. Except the 60,000 slaves and the heading, all other materials, to a very large amount, for tor nle, are safe--also the boilers, the stook, the furnace, the stone foundation, and portions of the brickwalls; and much of the injured ma chinery ran be turned to good account, in saving time and money. The loss will probably amount to between two and throe 'thousand dollars.
