Wilson, tied Lind ; say was &treated and held in sloono a cha 'of an assault and battery with I n tent to kill. ge Lindsay was then discharged ' Dr. Walters was called to -attend the injured ; I man and on returning (rain &visit to his patient, he stated that ho had fears as to the recovery of Dean. Another warrint was therefore issued for Lindsay's arrest, but he was not to be found. On Sunday morning, Dean was found to be out of all danger and it was not thought necessary, therefore, to re-arrest Lindsay. Yesterday Dean hail further improved. BAnt" Myst - R.—The Allegheny Bulletin of yesterday says that on Thursday morning last, a respectable looking Scotch woman called st - n house in the Second Ward, Allegheny, and requested the lady of the house to keep a child about a year old, which elm had with her, until she returned from Pittsbuigh. The lady, presuming that she was one of the neighbors, and not suspecting anything to be wrong, willingly done as requested. Noon came, hut the woman did not come hack. Friday and Saturday came, and 'hut, but the Scotch wo man failed to make her appearance. The child will be taken to the Poor House to morrow. They were seen in-the river on Sunday evening. The ordinance provides for the Inflic tion of St penalty of $5, and Alderman Donaldson expresses his intention to inflict the fine at every opportunity until some check is placed upon these outrageous breaches of common decency. hihrrsar.—The "Washington Light Infantry" of Pittsburgh, make their first drill in uniform under the command of Capt. F. F. Wright, on next Saturday.
