Penn street, in - .this city, has certified to a wonderful care performed by the we of Dr. Greene's celebrated eye clips. He states that on the 24th of March he was entirely blind of the — right eye. The blindness was caused by a cinder of red hot iron flying on to the upper lid of the eye, and penetrating through it to the ball, creating an intense Inflammation swelling or pairing out the lids, so that the pro! tuber:ince was nearly even from the bridge of the ilea to the outer part of the face, and bad the appearance of a tumor. He consulted seve ral oculists, and was informed that be was in curably blind. He Then called on Dr. Greene at the City Hotel. He says: "By direction of Dr. Greene I have applied his caps three times a day for eight days. The swellings departed, the pain lrremoved. The inflammation is rte. My melt is returned, so that I can distinguish the color of my pants on my knees." He is satisfied theta continued use of the cups will eventuate in a complete restoration to sight. This mare is certainly wonderful. At o given eignal, off they started at fall speed, each rolling s hoop ,before him. The mace was hotly contested, and the wholeale weer was hilly equal to city official's best speed. The only . special incident of the race was city official's collision with a lely4 ho was craning the street at the time.
