The telegraph reports that Auditor Bunn, of Indiana, has issued a circular to the effect that he will not sell stook and mleem notes of Banks that may be forced into li quidation, until he shall have given sixty days* notice, in New York, London, and Paris, end oot even then, if he should think it would be to the interest of the ownere to post* pone the sale farther. He will famish securitise at par, how ever, in return tor octet, when presented in sums of $lOOO. It has generally been supposed that in establishing a free banking system, the requirement of securities for the cir culating notes, and the intervention of State officers for the •afe keeping of thaee securities, «as to secure the interests of notei nolden: but Mr, Bonn appears to.hold that be has been placed In hi* position, es custodian of the bank escort ties, to protect the internets of the Bank. The Free Bank law of Indiana requiree that upon protest of tbs notes of any bank, the Auditor shall forthwith give notice to the bank protested, and after thirty days the Audltor shall im mediately give notice that the notes win be redeemed out of the trust funds in his hands. We find no authority in tne law for any such delay as the Auditor contemplates. Hew York Weekly Bank Statement. A. fbhnestock <t Co, OKN'rtom—For five year* put, I have u-cd B. A. Fahne stock’s Vermifuge for an anthelmintic in my practice My attention was first called to it In a case when 1 had toiled to dislodge worms with calomel, pink and oowhage. A bot tle was obtained, and u-ed with desirable effect; since then 1 have prescribed it for hundreds of patients, and in a large majority of cases with oomplete success. In one case a single bottle of tbe medicine brought away from one pa tient ninety-eight worms. I have never known it to do harm, and 1 am induced to make this statement from an honest conviction that it is the most valuable Vermifuge yet known. Such la mv confidence, in its “ worm-killing" powers, that I recommend it to other physicians in this sec tion, and furnish them with the article. M. C. Savage, M. D, Prepared and soW by B. A.
