Immediately afterwards, the Count andCount efts Pulszky followed, and then. ensued a scene that will not soon be erased - from the memory of those who witnessed it. Both the ladies, Kos suth and the Count, cordially embraced each other and shed tears in abundance; indeed, they vtere all so affected, that, scarcely a syllable passed between them Far some time. Kossuth's children, four in number, came in for a full share of congratulation, as also did the suite who am companied him. The steamer entered the docks about three o'climit, and was scarcely in the en trance when Kossuth, his wife and children, were discovered standing on the deck, with the Mayor in the midst of them. They were loudly cheered. Standing on the wall were a great number of Hungarians, who had purposely come down from London. It is needless to say, the Moment Kossuth ascended the gangway ladder, and put his foot on English ground, that they, tine and all, crowded around him and offered their congratulation. The Mayor had provided a carriage and four grays, and a band of musio. As soon as Kossuth -and his lady and children, the Count and Count ess Pulszky, and the Mayor, had taken their • /teats, the carriages slowly drove from the docks, accompanied by the blind and numerous other • vehicles, and traversed the principal streets, and thence proceeded to the town residence of the Mayor.
