This good old man, whom everybody respect ed and admired, PO far as he was known„lived 91 years, 1 month and lErtlays. Ho was born in Connecticut, Apra 7, 1873. His father moved to this then wilderness when'he was but a lad of eight years. His mother beldame, a constan ent member of the old Wyaluting Church, or gamzed.l793. September 22, 1803, tie married JEDIDA LACES, of LaeOrille, Who proved to be a faithful co-worker firtan•ially, and active in every good work for the elevation of her family, who have given her 4 lasting place in their hearts , Hwy are the holy, happy memories which can never be erased. The blow , that tore her from them, was- one which nothing but the consolation of the hope of re-union in a brighter sphere, could have enabled them to sustain. Her loss was also severely felt by the whole neighborhood, as she was4toted for her angelic ministrations at the_ conch pf disease and 'suffering. Mar were the grateful and sympathetic tears shed at her departure, on October 4, 1843. ldr.
