A Pressure or Over Five Hundred Found at Loss Than Ono Thousand Feet Thirty Barrels an Hour at Jack's Run Reports From Other Places. The biggest casser that has been tapped for a long time was struck yesterday on the Thoma3 Gamble farm, back of Oakdale. It belongs to tho Woodland OH Company, and they claim the gas vein -was reached at a depth slightly exceeding 900 feet. Others allege that tho pressure comes from tho gas sand, and taken altogether, the reports from it are rather vague. They agree upon one point, however, and that is the heavy pres sure, which Is estimated anywhere from 800 to TOO pounds. The tools could not bo run in the hole, and before it can be drilled any deeper the pressure will have to bo allowed to run off. Jack's Run OIL Jack's Ens It was reported last evening that the well of the Hober Oil Company on the Aiken farm back of this placohad struok a pay streak and was putting out the crude at the rate of 30 barrels an hour. It is not ex pected to hold up long. Near the Postofflce. Moos Tho Hervey Bros', well on the post office lot at this place is in the sand and showing for a good -well. The Orion Oil Company's No. 2, on the Doty, made 300 barrels in the 24 hours ending yesterday at noon. Tho Boden Oil Company will have a well in on the Sam Stevenson farm this w eek. The Kanawha Oil Company's No. 2 on the Onstott farm was due to get the sand last night. May Tet Be Good. McDonald The Chartiers Oil Company's well on the Jules Chartier lot, -which was reported dry in the Gordon Saturday night, has been drilled deeper and is flowing from that stratum. Its capacity could not be es timated 'last night. Finegan, Downing & Company's well on the Adrian Frayall lot is expected to get the Gordon this morning. Rodgers & Co., on the Cadet, should reach the Gordon Wednesday morning. A Crooked Hole. McCtmDT Mellon & Wilson's Palmer Xo. 4 was duo to get the sand last night.
