McCIung yesterday filed bis re port ot the audit of the second accouut of the assignees of the Farmers and Mechanics' Bank of the Sonth Side. He states that in relation to the second accouut he had a bet ter understanding of the bank's methods of doing business and adjusted and allowed interest on 100 accounts upon which inter est was not claimed or allowed at the first audit. A number of the accounts upon which interest was not allowed may yet prove to be interest-bearing accounts. A bill in equity was filed yesterday by Samnel Pallreymaii acainat his wife, Mary The plain tiff alleges that in 1S90 he entered suit for di orce from his wile and the subpoena was served by Deputy Sheriff Newell and David bmith was appointed commissioner. The testi mony was taken on May 17th and placed on file snd the case was placed on the argument list for September. When the case came up for arcument the iudges found that the papers containing the testimony were not on file rniong th other paper. The plaintiff and the prothoaotary made a search for the papers but rnnlil not find them, and they must have been di-.' roved ors-olen. The ulaiiitilf is advised that a decree cannot be granted under snch circumstances. He jray that a rule may be gi anted so that the witnesses may bo le-examined and the testi mony perpetuated. The Supreme Court yesterdaj decided that James Ednard Myers, convicted of murder ir the second degree, shall not bo admitted on bail. Leave was given, however, to return the motion when 'he court is furnished with a copy of the record bill of exceptions and assign ments of error. Chief Justice Paxson handed dow ii the decision with an exhaustive opinion in the case. The court also decided Louis P. Whiteman's appeal from tne Fayette County Lower Court's refusal to enjoin the Fayette Connty Fuel Gas towpany ironi cutting off the gas supplv from the plaintiff's flint glass works. Dr. Allison, of the Committee on Statistics, submitted a nancr civinir clans for the publica tion of a book containing a full and complete statistical account ot Pittsburg and Allegheny county business. The committee suggested that the book be named "America's Industrial Center," and that the compilation of it beciven to J. MortouHalL The committee also asked that JLO0O be aDpropriated for this purpose. Mr. Kelly entered some objections to appro priating so much money for the purpose, and stated that tbero were numerous publications giving tho desired statistics that were given awaj free. Morrison Foster wanted the Com mittee on Statistics to report monthly on the different items under that bead, which was agreed to.
