Section 1 Be it ordained and enacted by the city of Pittsburg, in Select and Common Coun cils assembled, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by authority of tbe same. Tbat tbe Chief of tbe Depart ment of Public Works be and is hereby author ized and directed to advertise in accordance with the acts of Assembly of the Common wealth of Pennsylvania and the ordinances of the said city of Pittsburg relating theieto and regulating the same, for proposals for tbe grad ing and paving of Eden alley, from Forty-fifth street to Forty-sixth street, with cobble stone, the contract tberefor to be let in tbe manner directed by the said acts of Assembly and ordinances.
