wagons, carriages, buggies, etc, to pay their li
cense at this office forthwith.
All licenses not paid on or before the first
Monday in March, 1890, will be placed in the
hands of police officers for collection, subject
to a collection fee of 50 cents.
And all persons neglecting to pay on or be
fore first Monday in May, 1890, will be subject
to a penalty double the amount o' the license
to be recovered before tbe proper legal author
ity of said city.
Tbe old, metal plate of last year must be re
turned at the time licenses are taken out, or 25
cents additional will be charged on tbe licence.
Rates of license: Each one-horse vehicle.
K 00; each two-horse vehicle, $10 00; each four
horse vehicle, 81200; each four-horse hack,
S15 00; omnibuse and timber wheels, drawn bv
two horses. 1000; one extra dollar will be
charged for each additional horse used in
above specified vehicles.
