Emerick is reported to be recovering nicely from the ef- fects of injuries suffered Friday when she fell down a stairway at her home on North Spring street. For several days Mrs. Emerick was confined to bed because of severe bruises and sprains, but is now able to move about indoors, —Mrs. Harold D, Fritchman, of the Stutsman apartments on West Curtin street, was admitted to the Centre County Hospital, Friday, to undergo treatment for an illness de- scribed as being a type of pneu- monia. According to reports Mrs, Fritchman is recovering steadily, but remains a patient in the institution. —Miss Anne Dorworth, daughter of W. J. Dorworth, of Philadelphi and Bellefonte, is on her way east from Salinas Cal. where she has been working for some time in a government research lzboratory.
