White, who has se ved Certre County as Prothonotary since January 1936 has been outstanding. The action of the Prothonotaries of the sixty- seven counties of Pennsylvania in electiny Mr. White, Vice-President and President of the Prothonotaries’ and Clerks’ of Cour Association of Pennsylvania, attests to the fact that he is recognized throughout the entire State of Pennsylvania, by ple who are thoroughly competent to appraise him on his merits as an or to Prothonotary. More important from the viewpoint of the taxpayer is the fact that when Mr. White became Prothonotary he applied th: same principles to the conduct of the of- fice that has marked all of his business li e. He not only gave good service, but he is the only Prothonotary of Centre Count; who after paying the salaries of his of- fice help, has ever paid any money into th: County treasury. The total already paid to the County exceeds $6000.00. That rec rd will stand in the history of the County and will not be repeated because the office will cease to be a fee office, and will be- come a salaried office, by reason of the Co inty’s elevation from the 7th to 6th class. Re-election of Bond C. White to the office of Prothonotary will assure the people of Centre County of courteous, efficient service, ably administered, without any inter. ruption, due to new personnel and the nec ssity of learning the many statutory duties imposed upon the Prothonotary by law. Re-elect Bond C. White, Prothonotary, his record warrants your continued confidence. “QUALIFIED FO! THE OFFICE" 4 §
