Williams) We were sarry learn of the death of one of the old residents of our valley, George Stevenson of Waddle, who died last Saturday at 4:55 p. m. at his home. George had not been well for the past three or four years but up until about a month or so ago he was able to walk out and around. In one of his con- versations one day he told the writ- er that he had helped to haul the greater part of the lumber to build Scotia, and he also told of many trips that he hauled the Scotia band to many different gatherings and pienles. George was well known far and wide and many people will be sorry to learn of his death.
