D* MOTT S mm PILIS4IRON. AN npperient and Stomachic preparation of IRON purified of Oxygen and Carbon by com bustion in Hydrogen. Sanctioned by the highest Medical Authorities, both in Europe and the Uni ted States, and perscribed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of Iron can be compared with it. Impurities of the blood, depression of vital ener gy, pale and other (rise sickly complexion indi cate its necessity in almost every conceivable cape. Innoxious in all msladies in which it has been tried, it ha' proved absolutely curative in each of tho following complaints, viz: In Debility, Nervous Affections, Emoneiation, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diarrhoea. Dysente.y Jn~ cipient consumption, Scrofulous Tuberculosis, Salt Rheum, Mismenstruation, Whites, Chlorosis, Liver Complaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumatisfn, In termittent Fexers, Pimples on the Face, Ac. In cases of GENF.RAL DEBILITY, whether the re sult of acute disease, or of the continued diminu tion of nervons and muscular energy from chronic complaints, one trial of this restorative has prov ed successful to an extent which a description nir written attestation would render ciedible. Inva lids so long bed-ridden as to have become forgot ten in their own neighborh od?, have suddenly re-appeared in the busy world as if just returned from protracted travel in a distant land. Some very signal instances of this kind are attested of female Sufferers, emaciated victims of apparent marasmus, sanguineous exhaustion, critical chan ges, and that complication of nervous and dys peptic aversion to air and exercise for which the physician has no name. In NERVOUS AFFECTIONS of all kinds, and for reasons familiar to medical men, the operation of this preparation of iron must necessarily be salu tarv, for, ut.like the old oxides, it is vigorously tonic, without being exciting and overheating ; and gently, regularly nperieut, even iu the most obstinate eases of costivehess without ever being n gastric purgative, or inflicting a disagreeable sensation. It is this latter property, among others which makes it so remarkably effectual and permanent,a remedy for Piles, upon which it also appears to exert a distinct and specific action, by dispersing the local tendency which forms them. In DYSPEPSIA, innumerable as are its causes, a single box of these Chalybeate P.lis has often suf ficed for the most habitual cases, including the attendent Costireness. In unchecked DIARRHOEA, even when advanced toDvsEXTEBy, confirmed, emaciating, and appa rently malignan' the effects have been equally decisive and astonishing. In the local pains, loss of flesh and strength,de bilitating cough, aud remittent hectic, which gen eral y indicate INCIPIENT CONSUMPTION,this reme dy has allayed the alarm of friends and physi cians, in several very gratifying and interesting instances. In SCROFULOUS TUBERCULOSIS, this medicated iron has had far more than the good effect of the most cautiously balanced preparations of iodine, without any of their welt known liabilities. The attention of females cannot be too confi dently invited to this remedy and restorative the cases peculiarly affecting them. In RHEUMATISM, both chronic and inflamatory— in the latter, however, more decidedly—it ha been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings and stiffness tie joints and muscles. In INTERMITTENT FEVERS it mast certainly he great remedy aud energetic restorative, and progress in the new settlements of the West, will probably bo one of high renown and usefulness. No remedv has ever been discovered in the whole history of meiiciue, which exerts such prompt, happy, and fully restorative effects.— Good appetite, complete digestion.rapid acquisi tion of strength, with an unusual disposition for active and cheerful exercise, immediately follow its use. A WORD TO THE PUBLIC.— Whereas the Spring Creek Woolen Manufactory, during the present season, bus been patronized to the lull extent of ts producing abiiities, and in anticipation of a still greater patronage the coming season, the proprietors have been induced to add more new machinery of the very latest improvements. This machinery \iiil facilitate our < peratiens very much and at the same time will improve the real value of out cloths at least ten per cent, while our pri ces shall remain as heretofore; it being our ambi tion to build up a reputation for this establish ment that will add all things thereto. From the facts here n set forth we confidently believe that wool growers and all other grod peoj le can now deal with us very much to their own advantage.-- While there, are many things alike in business of this kind, there is also much that is different.
