The long slope of roof surface must be impervious lo fire from without, to prevent panic and probable loss of life to terror stricken horses. It must be acid-proof, resisting deterioration from stable fumes arising from within. Consultation resulted in this addition to the Armory being roofed with Carey Asbestos-Asphalt Built-up Roofing, covered by a surety bond, laid in "The American Way." With the periodic care that any roof should receive, this roof will last indefinitely. The records of durability of Carey Roofings are actually astonishing. tr Annual Mrrllnca ' t,..i..UUllil.MJ LO.ii. CUiU-AJVl , Olliiri 1 I boiiiIi Third ntrrtt t-iiiiuuitipnia, ;uarcn n. ivji.
