Theie was a little more disposition to sell coffee con tracts this morning nnd on the opening call prices were 1 to 5 points net lower. There were transactions in virtually all the positions. Part of the early buying came from trade sources and was thought likely to be for the purpose of covering hedges against sales of spot coffee late jes terday. On the other hand, there was some I trading, which was believed to be hedg ing against supplies of coffee other than Santos, nnd. if anything, the market showed a tendency to sag off after the call, with December selling at 20.85 or 5 points net lower. Business was rather more general at the start, but was mostly in small lots. Te-t. I'linr.hE was Sull aniTweak Quotations hn the subject of highways in Councils, P.'n.
