Farver Dead, Willlam C. Farner, an aged and re- spected citizen of Potter township, paesed away at his home at Colyer Wednesday morning at 1:30 o'clock, following a lengthy illness with ure- mic poisoning. For the past two years Mr. Farner had been In in bealth and for the greater part of the past year was confined to bis bed. Mr. Farner held the office of Overseer of the Poor for a number of years and gave the office bis careful attention. He was born at Bprucetown seventy- seven years ago Japuary 24th last, sod lived in Potter township all his life, He was a carpenter by trade, bat dar. ipg the past thirty years followed farmiog. Surviving him are his wife and three children ; namely, James and Mary, at home, and Thomas Farner, of Philadelphis. There remains also one brother, John T, Farner, of Hyde- town, Crawford county.
