It is reported that one ring was found some three mili-s south of town on the Wilmore road. On Friday night or Saturday morn ing the wan-room of Mr. Andrew Stritt maler near the depot was entered by bur glars and as near as ran ! ascertained about thirty or forty pounds of bacon car ried off. Ilofecker moved there from Johnstown last fall, ami before long was on intimate terms with Mrs. Miller, who Is the mother of two children. Last April, after leading her husband to la-lieye that she was going to visit relatives in Martinsburg. Mrs. Miller eloped with Ilofecker to Johns town.
