We consider this record will compare favorably with any collectors in the state if not in the United States. This should serve in a measure to put a stop to the rumors that have been circulating around the county of late, reflecting on Mr. Williams' charac ter and morals and he wishes to say that his conduct at all times is in keeping with the above excellent record, all re ports to the contrary notwithstanding.
