A great deal of sickness is prevalent in our community. The extreme seventy of winter has not yet relaxed its firm hold on our climate. A warm day only breeds storm and more severe weather. Will Gearhart formerly of Cambra was married one day last week. The public roads are in bad con dition. There is plenty of snow back for a first class flood. A great many chickens are dying from the ejects of the severity of winter. Tames I. Campbell and wife were the guests of Wm. Ashelman's last Saturday. The breaking of the snow banks pay a larger return than the breaking of the "Rockefellow Bank". If you don't believe it ask the shovclers of snow. It is estimated that it cost Benton towship between three and four hundred dollars for shoveling snow. If DeVoe does not quit prophesy ing the weather we will get no spring at all.
