The official jouvnul makes the following announcement: "The Euape- S r has decided on the proposition of the inihter of Foreign Affairs, that all subjects of Prussia or of States allied with Prussia in France or French colonies shall be per mitted to remain so long as their conduct furnishes no cause for complaint. . Admission from this date to the territory of France of subjects of Prussia or allied States will be subject to special permission, given only ex ceptionally. He was unable to state what Prussia might have ex pected from the withdrawal of Prince Leo pold, and had no knowledge of the existence of the secret treaty between France and Denmark. In this vote all the legiti mate opposition is ended. The Pope then appeared and promulgated the new article of faith, and the ceremonies closed with a Te Deum, in which ell the members of the council and spectators joined with enthusi astic devotion. M.), for the revenue marine service for the Pacific coast, to be delivered at the port of San Francisco. Measurements for tonnage to be according to the old Custom House rule, taking the length ou load line from forward part of stem to after part of stern post, breadth of beam moulded, and depth from under part of deck to top of celling.
