Janus Callahan testified that he was at these polls all day, with the exception of one hour; kept the outside window book; the votiug was so vry fast that he could not find the names on the book; about 25 or 30 challenges were made: generally paper are produced and pronouueed all right; on other challenges vouchers were eeneially produced; hud lived In that division for Leaily twelve year.-; a great many straneers V?i re about there all day; could not say whether the Republican vote was the larger iu that divi biou; was not on the police force that day, but was the dav previous and the day atter.
