Last night an enthusiastic- and well-attended meeting of the friends of the Union Republican nominees residing inChester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties, forinlug the Seventh Congressional District, was held at Eagle, Chester county. It took place in an open held, about a quarter of a mile irom the railway station. On this was erected a platform, which was tastily decora'ed with the national colors, torches, and bouquets of evergreen. Delega tion from the neighboring villages were present in large iorce, and these also carried torebes end transparencies bearing the names of the Republican national nominees and suitable in scriptions. Bauds of music also accompanied many of thtse delegations, ana the scene pre sented was most inspiriting and encouraging. The Republ can Invinciblea, of Philadelphia, attended in a body, and were received with en 1 ttan-nastic cheering.
