Edward Austermahl. and the benediction was pronounced by Rev. II. Seheffer. The funeral sermon was preached yesterday morn ing, before a latere congregation, by Rev. J. C. Hasclhurm, at the church of which the de ceased was pastor. Another Homicipe. One of the conductors on the Sccoud and Third street railroad, named J-phraim styles, died at his residence, near the Xtnsingtou depot, on Saturday evening, from the effects of injuries received ou ihe night of the 8ih instant. Four or five men got iuto the cur on which Styles was conductor, on the evening named, aud refused to pay their fare when called upon. On -Mr. Styles insisting up m payment, one of tho pang knocked him down Miih a blackjack, and the others kicked him ia an outraaeous maimer before leaving tho car. The eorid! ctor, though severely iujured, con tinued h's duties for several days, but he be came so ill that he was compelled to take to his bed, where he remained until he died. A policeman was aequuiuted with tho circuinslance and obtained possession of the infant. Strange to say, it appeared to be unin jured, although thrown Irom the fifth story, and was still alive at a late hour last night.
