If we may bcliev astrological predictions, the dissolution ot the Turkish Empire, at lean in Europe, is at hand. In 1854, at the time of the Russiiiu war, the iollowiug was extensively cir culated among the newspaper press. It is an old prediction, and was first published about the middle of the fifteenth century, A. I). 14 iii: "In twice two hundred years the Bear 'J he Crescent .shad aail, But il the Cock and Hull unite the Bear shall not prevail." So far so good. Tbe Bear fRussiaWliil the Crescent (Turkey), but France and England (represented by the Couk and Bull respectively) united with Turkey, and Russia was luiled. Hut the prophecy continues: "Jn twenty years from that set out, Let I clam know and fear Tho Cross shall wave, the Crescent wane, Dissolve and disappear." This would indicate that the disruption of the Turkish Empire will take place in 1874, or inereaoouts. we nave not long to wait lor the iulhlment of the prophecy, which already bids fair to be realized.
