About 550 exhibitors attended the All Ameri can Dairy Show Sept. 21-25 and more than 1,400 attended the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) Sept. 30-Oct. 6. Several exhibitors I talked with say the newly expanded facility provides the amenities they need and the space they expect, and they say the service here far exceeds that found at many of the nation’s top shows. In short, the Farm Show Complex has become a highly regarded and visi ble business venue for agriculture business, as well as a host.of other business trade shows, exhi bitions, and conventions. Get the problem under con trol with a triply ceiling, as well as greatly improving the lighting. Contemplating a drop ceiling? Demand a triply ceil ing above your drop ceil ing if there is insulation being installed. This will serve as a vapor barrier along with permanently preventing falling insula tion. Lancaster Farming, Saturday, October 11,2003-A39 The Farm Show Complex was host this year to the first annual National Hereford Show during KILE, one of only six such shows in the nation. The Pennsylvania Recreational Vehicle and Camping Show in September was an enormous success, packing the facility with equipment and anxious customers. The banquet facilities will be utilized this year for the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show Dinner. And the Farm Show itself will be host to several new exhibitors this year. The $86.2 million renovation of the Farm Show Complex added a new equine arena, lobby, livestock area, bam, connector spine and ro tunda. Major upgrades were done to sale areas, dormitories, meeting rooms, and the cafeteria/ banquet hall. The larger, more modern facility, now ranked among the top five facilities of a sim ilar nature in the U.S. is attracting new and var ied clientele to the Farm Show Complex, includ ing customers that once would have been impossible to accommodate. And the recent addi tion of facility-wide air conditioning means the Farm Show Complex is now open for business all year round. In short, we want everyone to know we are open and ready for business with a world-class facility and a professional, “can-do” staff to help make your events successful.
