Muller accom plished: ✓ Well-known grazing expert Eric Kolver, Dexcel Company, noted that Muller is the “cham pion of pasture-based dairying in the U. 5.,” he said during a video played for those who attended the Muller symposium. He called Muller the “voice of reason to balance the views of the proponents and critics of grass-based dairying.” ✓ According to Kolver, the years 1990-2000 were critical in pasture research, and Muller’s work put him “10 years ahead of pasture-based studies,” compared to the rest of the world. ✓ Muller became known for his work in examin ing ways to improve pasture quality and increase profits. Producers now have a better understanding of forage for cows on all size operations. ✓ Muller studied milk response to supplements.
