I took my father-in-law’s tractor to an advertised sale and received a number. I also put a reserved bid on it. My husband and I went to the day of the sale to see it auctioned off. The tractor wasn’t in the lineup. I finally found it next to the house and went into the office to see what was going on. I found out one of the employees had bought it on the reserved bid without my per mission. The tractor never made it through the auc tion. I was upset it was handled in a dishonest way. I confronted the auctioneer. He seemed to think it wasn’t right also, until he found out his employee paid for it through the office.
