Bradford County 4-H, FFA Livestock Roundup At Troy Fair TROY (Bradford Co.) Com pleting their swine, beef and lamb projects for this year, over 100 youths participated in the Brad ford County 4-H and FFA Live stock Roundup at the Troy Fair before hundreds of spectators. SWINE: In the swine show, 79 youths competed for prizes. Grand champion fitter and show man was Hillary Lindsey of the Champion Chargers 4-H Club. She also was the champion from the intermediate (12-14) age bracket. The champion junior fit ter and showman was Erica Kuhlman of the Udder Bunch' 4-H Club and senior champion was Jenny Eick of the Hill’n Dale 4-H Club. In the light mediumweight class, first place blue went to Caitlyn Jackson, the Clever Clo vers; and 2nd, Kara Kneller, Kountry Kritters 4-H Club. Fourteen steers were sold with an average price per pound of $.82. Williams Lubricants purchased the grand champion steer from Raya Shores for $1.20. The reserve champion, raised by Rye Mathers, was purchased by Tuscarora Wayne Mutual Insurance for $1.05. Prices ranged from $1.20 to $.60 per pound. Eighteen lambs were sold commanding an aver age price of $l.lB per pound. The grand champion, raised by Emily Blade, brought the highest price of $2.25 per pound.
