In her position, Kummer will provide communications support to the organization by preparing news releases, newsletters, bro- mid other publications. She also will coordinate public relations and consumer events fo cusing on milk. Kummer grew up on a dairy farm in Butler County in western Pennsylvania. She was graduated from Penn State in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural sciences and earned a master’s degree from Penn State in 1995 in agricultural and extension ed ucation. Before joining the Mid-Atlan tic staff, Kummer worked for the Penn State Cooperative Exten sion service as a dairy specialist in Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence counties.
