Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mixed according to the USDA's Livestock Market News Service The majority of the cattle sold m the Plains traded steady to 3.00 lower, with a few transactions on cattle over 800 lbs firm to 2.00 higher. Northern states trad ed the bulk of their cattle less than 700 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, with the opposite over 700 lbs selling from steady to 1.00 lower.
