Windsor Manor Encore Taz, a 4-year-old cow owned by Amy lager of Fulton, Md., was named grand champion at the Eastern National Junior Holstein Show of the All-American event here last week. lager is pursuing a dairy sci ence and chemistry degree at Vir ginia Tech. After graduating in 2002, she plans to attend gradu ate school and study reproductive physiology. lager’s cow was also named re serve grand champion in the open show. Winning reserve grand cham pion in the junior show was Scott Walton with his aged cow, Hick ory Green B Star Patty from Tower Vue Holsteins, Carlisle. Junior champions were shown by E. William lager and Nathan and Andrew Kuehnhert, respec tively. Scarlet Tripp and D. Jared Hillegass, Berlin, exhibited the in termediate champs in the junior show.
