The National Farmers Union (NFU) recently called for a greater commitment to renewable sources of energy and an imme diate investigation into current energy prices. While the administration’s newest energy report makes mention of renewable sources of energy and the energy price crisis impacting Americans today, the family-farmer-and rancher organization is con cerned that the proposal does not embrace the full portfolio of renewable sources. NFU urges commitment to the farm-produced resources available to meet our nation’s need for affordable, secure, de pendable, and environmentally friendly energy. Prev.
