A26-Lancaster Farming, Saturday, Octobar 28, 2000 Master Gardeners, Leaders (Continued from Pago A 25) receive special recognition at the five-year turning point. Extension agents were also recognized during the meeting. Galen Kopp was recognized for five years of service and Martha Gregory for 15 years working for the cooperative extension. Also family living agent Sandra Parker and herd health agent Dr. Arlen Mills recently were recognized as new staff members. This year the cooperative ex tension is focusing on “honoring traditions and pioneering change.” In keeping with that motto, McGee spoke about how the organization accomplishes both. “Tradition is what we all find comfortable,” said McGee. Change, on the other hand, is a risk but nonetheless important to progress and an integral com ponent of the cooperative exten sion’s efforts. In a government and commu nity cooperation, both sides are stronger for the interaction, said county extension director Win ifred McGee. ► PAINTING ► All Types Interior/Exterior y Including Aerial Work Specialists in Sand Blasting and j P Spray Painting Farm Buildings, Feed Mills, Roofs, Tanks, Etc.
