A new TV commercial featur ing space-rocket graphics poses the question “Want your kids to be rocket scientists?”. It goes on to suggest that eating breakfast will improve a student’s grades and reminds moms that “If it’s not eggs, it’s not breakfast.” Radio commercials with a “Rocket Scientist” theme will also be included in the schedule. The 15-second TV commer cial will run on early morning, primetime and cable TV. There will also be a full-page “Rocket Scientist” print ad in the August/ September issue of Healthy Kids and the September issue of Parents magazines. The new campaign is de signed to appeal to the hopes BROWN SWISS GUERNSEY and aspirations moms have for their children, and highlights protein as one of the important nutritional benefits of eggs. The Back-To-School advertis ing will be in addition to AEB’s regular “I Love Eggs” cam paign. New School Foodservice Promotion At the recent AEB meeting, approval was given on a new program to promote eggs and diced chicken to school foodser vice operations. To determine needs in this area, a survey was sent to all state egg organizations, with re sults of this survey incorporated into the new school foodservice promotional program.
